AGENDA


  1. Brief report on the status of contract campaign
  2. Report from the Campaign Finance Committee
  3. Report from the Campaign Editorial and Publications Committee
  4. Report from the Campaign Nominations Committee, with nominations for:
    1. Four PSC Executive Officers: President, First Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer
    2. University-wide Officers
    3. Senior College VP and Officers
    4. Community College VP and Officers
    5. Cross Campus VP and Officers
    6. VP and Officers for Part-Time Personnel
    7. Retiree representatives to the PSC Executive Committee
    8. NYSUT and AFT Convention delegates and alternates
  5. Elections for New Caucus Candidates for the above positions
  6. -- In each of the categories above, the election process will consist of:

    1. Additional nominations from the floor (Note: Those named by the

            Nominations Committee will be considered nominated.)

    1. Brief statements by each candidate, if desired, or his/her representative (up to 2 minutes for Executive Officer Nominees, up to 1 minute for all other positions except Convention delegates, for which up to 5 minutes of floor discussion will be allotted). Candidates may also distribute written statements on behalf of their candidacies.
    2. One or two additional statements of support (up to one minute each) on behalf of each candidate for Executive Officer, if desired.
    3. Discussion and questions from the floor 
    4. Election (secret ballot for contested positions; unanimous consent if not contested) 

NOTE: Persons who cannot attend the Convention may be nominated for positions on the slate. However those nominating a person not in attendance must give assurances to the body that the nominee agrees to run on the New Caucus slate, if chosen.
